Bradenton, FL (Sept 30, 2024) Parkwood Dental is hosting a community outreach event “Little Smiles,
Lots of Fun” event on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
The team at Parkwood Dental are opening their doors on Monday afternoon to meet kids in Manatee County in an effort to improve dental health in our community.
This event is open to families and we welcome children under the age of 12 to receive a free exam, cleaning, and fluoride treatment. Parental permission and supervision is required.
We want to make ‘going to the dentist’ something kids don’t fear. Visiting the dentist is an important and necessary event and something kids can look forward to doing for the rest of their lives.
Dr. Hernandez and his team believe that educating parents early on oral health assists with preventing cavities, addressing and correcting bad oral health habits, and improving dental alignment that may affect a child’s development and speech. We hope to teach kids and their families that developing healthy dental care habits is not only smart, it’s fun!
This 6th annual event will kick off our ‘No Cavity November’ where we buy-back halloween candy and dental hygienists from Parkwood Dental demonstrate good brushing and flossing skills while giving out toothbrushes and paste to Manatee County schools as a dental health awareness community outreach effort.
On November 6th we invite local residents with kiddos to join us for a free kid’s dental cleaning and enjoy balloon animals, prizes from the Treasure Chest, Face Painting and more!
Wednesday’s event will run from 2:00 pm. to 5:00 pm. at our WEST office located at 2620 48th Ave West. Appointments are required for this event. Call or text (941)254-2595 to reserve a spot.
